Media in recents but not library

Hi everyone, 
I'm new to jellyfin but am loving it so far compared to plex. I'm having an issue with media displaying in my libraries. I have two, movies and tv. When I import files into movies they show up no problem. In Tv however, they don't show up in the library. They do however show up in the 'recently added in tv' and can be played perfectly fine through there. I've tried deleting this library and creating another with the same path, same issue. I also changed the pre-set to movies instead of shows, same issue. 
I hope someone can help because I really value organization and also being able to access my stuff.

Hey guys so I actually found the solution. I was uploading individual episodes. If you upload them within a file (say 'season 1', even if its only one episode) it'll show up.
