media only plays on browser

Issue: I was able to log in to Jellyfin and see the media I want to play on every device I own: Roku, Amazon Firestick, and browsers. However, I can only play media I'd like to play when using browsers such as Chrome, Firefox, or Safari on my phone or pc. When I try to play such media, I get a loading screen, and then it exits the media and showcases the home screen of the Jellyfin app.

Running it off an hp 4440s probook

In Dashboard > Playback, uncheck "Allow encoding in HEVC format". Your CPU doesn't support encoding to that and your clients are requesting it.
