How do I move a media from one library to another?

I have a Library called "Latest" that I store the new movies in.

If I don't intend to keep a movie forever, I delete it from the library.

But if I want to keep it for longer, I'd like to move it from the "Latest" to the "Movies" library.

At the moment I do it from a file manager or terminal but it's a hassle because metadata also needs moving.

Does jellyfin have an option to move something from one library to another?

Jellyfin has no features that would allow you to do that. Here's a feature request for it: https://features.jellyfin.org/posts/359/...-libraries

While I don't expect it to be implemented, you never know.
