Finally figured out how to recreate it after dealing with this for a couple years.

When exiting movies, then re-starting later, sometimes the timestamp is 8 minutes past when exited.

    1) Run Jellyfin on browser in Chrome logged in as Admin
    2) Open Jellyfin app on Roku TV, logged in as User (different user profile from Admin account)
    3) Play movie on Roku TV JF app
    4) Chrome Admin Dashboard > Activity, watch Roku TV User playing movie and watch time advance. ie: 17:03 / 1:31:19 where 17:03 goes up in value as movie progresses.

Expected behavior; running Timer should stop when movie is exited. Except sometimes it does not stop. It continues playing internally for another 8 minutes.

    - Works as expected (stops the movie) when either the Pause button is pressed, or the upper left back-arrow button is pressed. Both stop the Timer while the Roku user still has Roku JF app open.

    - Does not work as expected (Timer keeps running for 8 more minutes) when either the upper right 'Home' button is pressed or TV 'Power' button is pressed.
Meaning User did a hard exit from the Roku JF app, without pausing/stopping the movie first.

Works as expected scenario probably sends a signal to JF server to 'Halt Movie'.
Does not work as expected (hard exit from Roku app, where movie continues playing internally) does not have a chance to send a notice to JF server to 'Halt Movie'?

I now know, do not do hard exits from JF app on Roku if I'm watching a movie.
Is there a way to fix this?
