Not sure if I can get support for plugins here, but I'm using the "Merge Versions" plugin to consolidate different versions of movies I have, mainly 1080p and 4k. They get "combined" but show multiple posters in the library.
This library is movies only. I've tried splitting and re-merging, as well as refreshing metadata (replacing all) and re-scanning libraries.
I'd like to get rid of these duplicate posters if possible.

    Are they in separate folders?
    Jellyfin 10.10.7 (Docker)
    Ubuntu 24.04.2 LTS w/HWE
    Intel i3 12100
    Intel Arc A380
    OS drive - SK Hynix P41 1TB

They are. I just tried adding them to the same folder and the Merge Versions plugin doesn't even recognize that they should be merged, it leaves them separate after running "Merge All Movies"

If you've moved them into the same folder, try scanning libraries from the Dashboard to see if it updates.

If you have them in the same folder, Jellyfin already has the functionality to merge versions if the files are named properly.

    https://jellyfin.org/docs/general/server...of-a-movie

    An example from my library.

    Code:
    Jinroh The Wolf Brigade/
├── Jinroh The Wolf Brigade - Custom Subs.mkv
    └── Jinroh The Wolf Brigade - Original.mkv
    Jellyfin 10.10.7 (Docker)
    Ubuntu 24.04.2 LTS w/HWE
    Intel i3 12100
    Intel Arc A380
    OS drive - SK Hynix P41 1TB
    Storage

Nope. Merge Versions still doesn't detect them as the same movie.

Thanks, but combining folders and renaming the whole library to accommodate this is too much of a hassle just to fix a simple display issue.

What library type are these in? A dedicated movies library or a mixed library?
