    Hello,
I have a couple of older animes that have prequels, but the anidb season identifier doesn't resolve the prequel as being part of the same series, despite them being directly related.

At the end of the day, all I want is to see the two seasons live under the same series. I do not care how my folder structure should be mangled to accomplish this.

Let me know if you have any ideas. Thank you.

For anime, you should use TMDB if you want to have minimal fuss storing all the seasons under the same show.
As you probably know, AniDB (and AniList) treat each season as a new show.

If you switch to TMDB, all you have to do if you want to include the IDs is the have the tmdbid-#### listed on the parent show folder.
