Hi! So i have largish music library and i have set it up using Mp3tag (all files have right Artist (Contributing artist), Album artist, (most have album), and song name in title) but jellyfin only seams to see "title" only.
Why it cannot see the album artists from files tags?

and IMO it seems like it has not been fixed. Plex for example reads tags fine, but JF not.

I would assume your tags are broken somehow.
best to clear them completely and let it retag either manually (make sure you use the correct tags, not some custom tags that just look similar). I'd recommend trying a batch with musicbrainz picard. In general I can tell you that clean tags work just fine for me in jellyfin when tagged e.g. with picard but also with mp3tag. |
