hi, so my friend helped me set up a jellyfin server, but I have zero knowledge about computers and coding and stuff.
I have been having trouble with the metadata for some shows, even after I use identify and enter the imbd id it doesn't work, I also tried manually adding the title and more information, but it cannot find it.
(I also have an imbd plugin, if that is relevant)
I'd appreciate help that is "dumbed-down" because I tried searching and reading the forums but I cannot understand a thing.

I also would appreciate help regarding a way to sync my subtitles, although I have even less understanding and information about it, so I get it might be hard to help me with that.

YouTube has plenty of tutorials on computers, ranging from basic skills to coding. If you're interested in learning, consider taking a class.

Read the documents here on how to name you file and folders.

You can try subsyncarr or manually sync your files with Subtitle Edit.
