I have attempted to set up One Pace recognition and metadata retrieval using this jellyfin-plugin-onepace from J. Wüller. However, so far I have failed to set it up to work. Maybe someone in the forum here already has OnePace and would be able to help. (Or if someone uses an alternate solution for the same purpose I would also be interested.)

(For anyone who doesn't know, One Pace is a community edit of One Piece that removes most fillers and generally improves the pacing of One Piece. But because it's community maintained the normal metadata providers like IMDB don't work.)

I did the following to set it up (without success)

    • I made sure to use a library of type "shows" (not mixed)
    • I added the OnePace plugin
    • In the library management I can see "One Pace" as a metadata provider. I made sure the One Pace metadata provider was always at the top.
    • I refreshed the metadata (replace all and replace images)
    • This didn work and usually had One Pace recognised as Prince Planet.
    • I also tried to disable all other metadata providers but this just left OnePace without any metadata...

I am kind of at a loss as to why this doesn't work and would appreciate any feedback or ideas.

This is the folder Structure I have for One Pace. As far as I can see this is correct and corresponds to how it should be according to the readme of the plugin.

You'd probably be better off asking on their discord. Since this requires you to setup things up very specifically.

One thing I will say is that your naming deviates from their example. I'm not sure how tolerant the plugin is of deviation from the provided example.

check out this github repo, it works perfectly for jellyfin
it says its for plex and to use XBMCnfoTVImporter to make plex use the .nfo files provided but thats not needed for jellyfin as it can use .nfo natively
it includes a renaming script and exe that you can use to automatically rename from the one pace naming format to the normal S1E1 format
