    Hello,

I have created a new library "mixed films and series"
    What is this library for?

I linked my folder "mixed" in the library and copied a film and a series (series are into a subfolder).
At the overview shows me the film and the series.
If i click at the Film i can see the filminfos, all okay.
If i click on the series, i see any info from the series, but I can't see any series parts, wha this?

So a mixed library doesn't make sense, does it?

    My folder structure is:

MIXED (this is the main folder that is linked to the library)
    >film01.mp4
    >film02.mp4
    >SERIES (this is a subfolder)
    >>series01.mp4
    >>series02.mp4

Now is the question, how can I see the series in Jellyfin?
    Thanks Smiling-face

    A) the movies should be in their own folder for consistency with shows.

    B) you need season folders and to change the show names to include both the season and episode numbers. 'show name S01E01.mkv'

    Hi @TheDreadPirate,

Sorry, my mistake, the naming of the series is of course exactly as you suggested.
    >SERIES (this is a subfolder)
    >>series01 S01E01.mp4
    >>series02 S02E02.mp4

I created a "Series" library as a test.
If I copy the "SERIES" folder into it, everything works fine.
The series is recognized, metadata and images are also recognized without any problems.

Only in the library with "mixed films and series" there is still no difference, no metadata for the series Slightly-frowning-face

Quite by chance, I found the solution.

In the folders with the series there must be a folder called "Season 1", then everything works perfectly.
I've previously managed my films on my NAS with Synology Video Station, so I didn't need any season folders.
I'll have to change everything around Winking-face
But it looks like everything will work out Smiling-face

    Looks like this
    >SERIES (this is a subfolder)
    >>Season 1
    >>series01 S01E01.mp4
    >>series02 S02E02.mp4

    Thanks Smiling-face
