As the title suggests, I am having issue with one tv show in particular playing in the MKV format. I have transcoding enabled on my Synology 920+ using VAAPI. When I try to play this show, I get a pop-up saying "Playback Error: Unable to find a valid media source to play." Once I click "ok", the loading circle just continues to spin. I have to refresh the page to get the loading circle to disappear.

I found other threads that mention this and the fix for all the ones I found was to enable transcoding and/or re-identify the show to fix metadata issues that caused the hang-up. I already have transcoding enabled and I've tried the re-identify to no avail.

There is no FFMPEG log for me to upload.

Can you share your full jellyfin log via pastebin? And in the Jellyfin UI, click on the "..." context menu for the episode and click "Media Info". Copy and paste that into a code block in a post.

Also, uncheck AV1 in the Transcode settings. The J4125 in your 920+ doesn't support decoding that in hardware. Additionally, you CAN check VP8 and VP9. And you should still be able to use Intel Quick Sync, though VAAPI should also work.
