    Hi,

almost all of my multi disc albums are combined properly but some just refuse to. I am using the recommended file structure (root/artist/album/disc1(disc2 etc.)/track.flac, have set the tags in picard (including disc number and number of discs ofc), and tried manually setting them in jellyfin.

any help would be appreciated, thanks!

Can you share the output of ffprobe on the problem albums?

I also checked the albums that do work and I'm not seeing any missing tags
But I am seeing that the albums sorted into "12 vinyl 01" etc are all experiencing the same issue so I will try changing the naming. However, that shouldn't be an issue so it would need fixing anyways

One of them, the you labeled "Album 1 Disc 2" which is "From Me to You", has "Disc 1" in the metadata.

    Code:
    disc            : 1

However, from what I can find that track does below on "side 1" for that Viynl. Can you share screenshots of how it looks in Jellyfin for this particular Beatles album?

Did you make changes to the metadata before or after you added these files to your library?

Both. I've changed it in place and refreshed/scanned. but also removed the files, scanned to remove from JF, and added back but still the same result

Can you try changing the folder name from "12 Vinyl 01" and 02 to "CD 01" and "CD 02"? I KNOW both of those folder names work for multi-disc albums.

Perhaps "Vinyl 01" and 02 would work. I'm thinking the Vinyl size at the beginning of the folder name is throwing off the folder name parser.

Thank you, that works. I thought i tried that but i deleted the album.nfo this time and that helped. I also had to refresh the library after removing the folders before readding them or it doesnt work.

hopefully the indexing can be fixed from this as my stuff is sorted by lidarr and i dont see a way to drop just the "12" part.

    Thanks again
