Trying out Jellyfin and liking it so far, but: Is there any way to get the media scan to make more than one screen grab of video files? Very, very often the single screen grab is quite useless and having a few different grabs to choose from would greatly help. I've looked around the interface and google but I can't find any info on configuration for Screen Grabber or Embedded Image Extractor.

    Jellyfin doesn't have this feature.

Maybe a plugin can be made to get this feature or hope for something to come directly into Jellyfin.

I would search for an existing feature here: https://features.jellyfin.org/
If you can't find a similar feature, just create your own request for it.

Alternatively, it would be the easiest to just open the video using a video player and make your own screenshot.

    Ah.

Yeah, that's easy for one file, not for hundreds Smiling-face I could make an ffmpeg script myself to make the screen grabs but getting them into the database is another matter.
