Hello everybody, I just migrated to Jellyfin and I'm sorry to report Swiftfin player doesn't work for me on iOS or TVOS.
I have an iPhone 16pro and an Apple TV "brick" (the one before the 4k one), and playing any of my videos on both devices results in a stuck player and a black screen. Initially, I thought it might be some slow loading issue, but after waiting half an hour I guess that's not the problem 😅 The old React-based Jellyfin app plays fine on iOS, but I haven't found an app to use on the Apple TV. Any suggestion? I tried to verify if perhaps Infuse would work, but at 99$ purchase price without being able to see it play my videos I'll pass and get a Firestick 😆

Infuse? It's not free, though.

I did, but you edited your post after I had started writing my response so I didn't see it.
Also, Android TV > Apple TV, 100%.
Yeah, linear time is an annoying feature of the universe.
I joined the testflight beta for iOS: the swiftfin player doesn't work, but switching to the native one works fine 🎉 Hopefully I'll be able to join the TVOS one too: https://github.com/jellyfin/Swiftfin/discussions/1294 |
