I have a weird problem...
First can I say I LOVE Jellyfin, it has solved all my media problems, I can stream my music now and I love how it works through Symfonium on android. so slick!
the problem is pretty small, and could be someting I can't find in settings so any help very much appreciated!
I take an 4 track Ambeint album, I want it on my main machine itunes (A) and on my Raspberry Pi (B) where I have Jellyfin loaded. Say I forget to set the genre for the album, I change it locally on (A) and then login to the web interface to change it on (B).
This has been working OK, or I thought it was. If I count up the albums Genre > Ambient it says 16, same number on (A) and (B) GREAT!, but if on (B) I choose Songs > Ambient it says 118 on (B) and 122 on (on A).
So I go to the album page and look at the genre and it says Ambient, but then I click all four tracks and they say rock (which is what I fixed them from).
I what I want to know is, can I force Jellyfin to rename all the tracks' genres too? I tried looking up the track and playing it and it hasn't been changed
