    JellyHey everyone,
I’m having an issue with Jellyfin and hoping someone might have some advice.
I installed Jellyfin on my PC using the Windows installer. Everything works perfectly there — I can stream without any problems on both my PC and my Android phone. But on my Lenovo P11 tablet (running Android 14), things are hit or miss.
I’ve tried the official Jellyfin app and also Findroid. With the Jellyfin app, some videos and TV shows play just fine, but others refuse to load, and I get a "Fatal error in video player" message.
Findroid doesn’t even let me log in — I just get an "Unknown Error" at the login screen.
I also tried the new client Streamyfin, but it can’t connect to any session either.
One thing I checked: all the videos are available and playable through VLC on the same tablet, so the files themselves are fine.
I use NextDNS with some filtering (anti-ads, anti-adult content), but even when I disable it, the problem remains. I’ve also cleared the cache of the apps multiple times, but that didn’t help.
What’s strange is that it’s not a blanket failure — some videos work, others don’t, and it seems pretty random. So I’m wondering if this could be some codec incompatibility, an Android 14 issue, or something else entirely.
If anyone has experienced this or has any suggestions, I’d be really grateful. Thanks!
