Hi, I'm very new to Jellyfin only had a couple of weeks of playing with it, moved over from Plex.
I had a look at my TV series folder on my external thumb drive on my Mac computer and noticed that each episode a folder has been created and it's full of thumbnails of that particular episode. I'm just wondering how they got there and what is it for. I have downloaded several plug-ins and I'm wondering if this could be the cause. Do I need them?
    Thanks
    Colin

When setting up a library, there's an option called "Save artwork into media folders". You likely have it turned on. To check or change it, go to Dashboard -> Libraries, click the context menu(three dots) next to your series library, then choose Manage Libraries to find that option.

If you unselect it, Jellyfin will save artwork in the Jellyfin programdata folder.
