recently migrated to a new n100 box.. this time trying to use ubuntu. got everything set up properly but i think im having transcoding issues.

videos start to play and then freeze and buffer.

i went through the qsv steps https://jellyfin.org/docs/general/admini...tion/intel and have everything configured.

Can you share your ffmpeg logs via privatebin.net?

hm according that log is not even even transcoding, just remuxing. Basically just putting the audio and video in a new container.

Are you watching via Wifi? What is your playback device?

Also could you screenshot the rest of the transcoding page? I think it's be correct so far just to be sure....

Can you find a transcode ffmpeg log? Specifically for the file you are having issues with?

In all cases Jellyfin is either remuxing or transcoding only the audio. All of which is occurring much faster than needed. And the bit rates for the videos aren't particularly high so I don't THINK network performance is a factor.

Are you having issues with ALL your clients? Or just a particular client?

both clients (which are both running a firestick). clients have worked fine previously using a win JF server.

Do you have a VPN running on the system?

Can you share the main Jellyfin log? Can you test playback performance in a browser? Phone? It shouldn't matter, but trying to narrow things down.
