Hide "Skip to previous" and "Skip to next" buttons when playing a single file

It would be nice to declutter the UI by hiding the "Skip to previous" and "Skip to next" buttons whenever playing a single file and there are no other files in the play queue. Currently these buttons don't do anything when playing a movie file. Is this already possible to do somehow?
