If that is really the case and we don't have an alternative for QT then what becomes of all the clients for Jellyfin server? How is emby dealing with this issue? Do they still use QT or maybe we follow what emby clients use.

Clear your cache if you are having issues in a client! I upgraded JF server/web from 10.10.3 -> 10.10.4 with no issues, but then was getting a "fatal error" in the JF web client when trying to play live TV. I was also having navigation issues in the JF android client after starting live TV playback (audio/video would play, but I couldn't access any controls or go back to the guide.)

Clearing cache for each fixed the issues.

Thank you everyone for all of your work on this release!

The issue with QT only applies to the full fat desktop app, Jellyfin Media Player, and is separate from jellyfin-web.  Besides using your browser, the alternative on desktops is Jellyfin MPV Shim or Kodi w/Jellyfin for Kodi or Jellycon.

It’s also worth noting that JMP requires less frequent updates since it isn’t bundling web like it did previously.

The subtitles are still not fix. Slightly-frowning-face

They did pull that request and fix it #13098 but havent included it on that new update. Why?

You've already commented on that PR, so you should be able to see that there's an ongoing discussion between the developer and the PR author. If and when it gets merged, it will be included in the next major release (10.11), not in the 10.10 bugfix releases. Please stop unnecessarily commenting on the PR or about the PR. You can follow the conversation just like everyone else.

Sorry about asking. I did not see that conversation. Really, I thought this was fixed and checked.
