    Hey All,

I'm going to put this out there, and see if the group-mind can help me with some Jellyfin struggles that I've been having.  I've been a Plex user for many years, I bought my lifetime pass when it was only $50, and I've got my money out of it.  The new interface is super annoying, and I don't like the recent changes; so I thought I'd give Jellyfin a try.

My setup is that I'm running Jellyfin 10.10.7 on a Synology NAS DS1618+ (DSM 7.2.2, 32 GB of Ram, with a fairly large media library).  In the Living room I'm running a Roku Ultra with the Jellyfin app installed.  In the Office I'm using a Chrome browser to watch content.  I've also installed the Jellyfin Media Player in the Office as well.  Basically Chrome is not playing the files, saying the Content won't work (Playback failed because the media is not supported by this client.).  But the Jellyfin Media Player and Plex work fine.  Roku is often saying that if can't find the files.  Ugh!  Very frustrating.

I was looking in the Jellyfin logs and noticed that I was hitting the inotify_max error, which when I tried to address that issue, caused me to have to do a re-intallation of the DSM on the synology, UGH!

On the positive side, setting up the reverse proxy was a dream, and seems to work fine.  If I could just get the various devices to consistently access the content I'd be a happy camper.

    Any suggestions would be appreciated.

    Jeff
