    Hello,

i was thinking about a "Kids" profile, and as the given options in user management are not good enough for what i want them to be, i thought about using "tags" as a filter. So i've added a new user KIDS and only allowed it to access "KIDS" tagged media. I've added this tag to some of the movies for a test but guess what: The KIDS user can see the movies in recently added but is not able to access them at all and they are not listed in libraries as well (just in recently added on main page). What am i doing wrong?

    Regards

What server version are you using?  On 10.10.3, filtering with tags successfully restricted "Recently Added".

Using latest Server version and i can see similar as your screenshot (tested movies, not series) and my tagged media is shown in recently added, but cannot be accessed and is not shown in library/movies.

Do you have allowed tags in addition to a parental rating? Can you show screenshots of how you have the parental controls setup? I'm having a hard time trying to reproduce what you're seeing. My attempts so far result in it only showing the intended tags and/or age ratings.

I dont have any parental control setup, just the "tag" thing. So no rating or any other restrictions except tag "Kids"

When you are viewing content in the library on the kids account, are there any additional filters applied? I've made this mistake myself. Thinking half my movies disappeared only to realize that I forgot to remove a filter.

If you do click on the movie from "recently added" what happens exactly? Nothing? An error message?

No filters applied. When clicking on a movie from recently added, the spinning wheel is shown and spins forever. When i go to the movies library, no movies are shown.

What OS is the server running? And how is Jellyfin installed?

    Happy New Year!

To me, this feels like there is a mismatch between the server and web. I've seen users with weird issues that turned out to have server 10.10.X and web version 10.9.X.

    Code:
sudo apt list --installed | grep jellyfin
    Jellyfin 10.10.7 (Docker)
    Ubuntu 24.04.2 LTS w/HWE
    Intel i3 12100
