    Morning all (where applicable),

Just getting started with the software and I have a few questions.

Currently, I'm having difficulty with Live TV. When I select a channel, I get the circle indefinitely. Now, I'm going to guess it's probably my server setup but perhaps not. I currently host the server on an Ubuntu Desktop client, with 2 CPUs and 16GB of memory. This is a VM on my Dell server, which is an old one. It has a single Xeon 3430 with 32GB of memory.  Currently, it has a Windows 10 guest, a Windows Server guest, and a Ubuntu server guest. All of which are, basically, idle. My Win10 doesn't much care for the host either. The server seems content. Should I be using more modern hardware?  VOD works fine, it's a bit slow to begin but it will play without much hassle.

When I do populate the LIve TV guide, I get the channel number and the logo, but no channel text. I do get the channel text on hover, but it's not displaying that.  It this normal behavior, or am I missing something?

I'd have used the Ubuntu server to run the Jellyfin, and it's installed there.  Linux isn't my area, and I was having issues with the VPN. I assume that this being a client/server setup, having a VPN on the server doesn't require me to have it on the client? The server handles all external traffic and not just passing the URL on to the client.

    Thanks.

Can you share your logs with us? I suspect it is trying to transcode and you don't have a GPU and not enough CPU cores. In the Users Dashboard, is the box to force live TV transcoding checked?

I removed the mu3&xml, cleared out the cached channels, and then put them back in again. Live TV now playing. It's slow in starting, takes about 7 seconds to begin to play from clicking play. It's probably not that long, flash-frying a buffalo takes longer. Also slow in loading the guide, VOD list, etc, or maybe it's me being impatient.
