I started watching a show on season 9. Then I watched season 10. I added seasons 2 and 3 to my collection and started watching those. However, when I finish an episode in seasons 2 or 3, it doesn't display the next episode in the "next up" section. I had to mark seasons 9 and 10 as unwatched in order for episodes to start showing up in "next up." Is there any way around this? I see that there is a feature request in place for next up to work properly when rewatching shows, but it's unclear to me whether this feature ever got implemented.

As you discovered, the furthest episode you watch is what is considered for next up behavior. Any unwatched episodes you have will not appear in next up if there is a future episode marked as watched. There's no current way to change this behavior.
