no option to remove it from the playlist?

I have a song list and I want to remove a song and realize there is no option to remove from playlist?
There is only a "delete media"
This option is obviously not what I want, to remove the song from the playlist.

Which view are you doing this from?  Are you in the playlist or in the album? Based on the options available, I am assuming you are NOT viewing the playlist.

When you are viewing the playlist, there is an option to remove from the playlist only.

   

AFAIK, this will only appear if you are in the playlist and you own the playlist.

I as well was having this issue on the Playlist page ( Please see attached images )

I made a backup of the file to test with. So despite the warning message seen in the the second attached image, I can validate on my end that the file did not remove from my storage drive.

If you are still having this issue, please try to back up the files just to be safe and attempt one or more to see if you are able to remove them.


I hope that in the future, they can relabel that option in the playlist menue to "Remove from Playlist" and change the message presented to the users.
