not able to play embedded subtitles on jellyfin

So I am trying to play a video file which has embedded subtitles but even when subtitles are enabled im not able to see them.
I have disabled subtitle extraction on fly and also used subtitle extracter plugin but no luck,the same file plays flawlessly on plex without transcoding.
im able to play subtitles using external subs
