    Dear forum,

Jelyfin do not decode DTS-X content. ThruHD Dolby Atmos is working fine. Plex on Shield Pro is decoding DTS-X.

    Setup:
    Unraid Server 7.1.4
Jellyfin 10.10.7 in a BBergle container.
    Trinnov Altitude AVR.
Shield Pro (P2897, Version 11, Android TV SW 9.2.1)

    Log is included.

Very happy for ideas to solve this as I´m about to leave Plex for good.

Do you have an ffmpeg log? I don't see any failures in that log other than a bad plugin repo.

There seems to go an ongoing issue with DTS High Resolution audio with the Jellyfin for Android TV client:
    See: https://github.com/jellyfin/jellyfin-and...ssues/3166

Unclear what you mean by doesn't decode: Is it not playing, do you get an error, does it direct play but fail? More details about your situation might help.  Also, your ffmpeg log you posted has nothing to do with DTS audio.

DTS-X content is not forwarded to the AVR as such, the AVR says DTS, that´s it. No sound in hight channels.

Also, the same goes for other DTS specific content. DTS-MA contect to AVR as DTS.

Ok, it fallbacks to DTS Core. If you read that thread, it's an unresolved issue. I've only been able to get high resolution DTS files working with Jellyfin by using Kodi. Either use it as an external player for the Jellyfin for Android TV client or use Kodi with the Jellyfin addon.

How can Jellyfin.org live with this error? It means that about 99% (AppleTV and few others) of the streamers can not passthrough DTS properly.
