    Hello,
I'm relatively new to Jellyfin, and am using it solely to play my music collection through my TCL Roku television. I've looked around, but maybe I missed this? I'm trying to find a way to either make a playlist or how to queue one album after another, etc. Does anyone know if I can do this via the Jellyfin app on Roku?
    thanks!

I don't think playlists can be created or managed from the Roku app.

AFAIK, "add to queue" is a client side behavior that the Roku app doesn't support. The dev said this was a Roku limitation.

For music, I'm only aware of Feishin having that functionality (desktop music client). I THINK Finamp does, too. I don't have my phone handy to double check that.

Regardless, you will need to setup the playlist on a browser client. And "add to queue" is not a function in the Roku client.

    Good news everyone!

Playlist management was added in 3.0.0. You can add items, remove them, create playlists, delete playlists, etc. all within the Roku client.
    🤘 Enjoy

Huzzah! Not sure why I would want to do that from a TV interface, but huzzah anyway!

that sounds wonderful! I think that I've found it... but I'm not sure how it works. Is there a link to instructions on Jellyfin's site? thanks!

Currently, Jellyfin doesn’t have a native playlist feature on Roku, but you can manually queue albums one after the other. It’s a bit manual, but works for now.
