    Hi everyone,
I’ve set up Jellyfin 10.10.5 in a Docker container, but I’ve noticed that there’s no notification option available by default on my dashboard.
Is there any specific setting I need to activate in the Docker Compose configuration, or am I missing something else?
Any help or guidance would be greatly appreciated!
    Thanks in advance!

If by "Notifications" you are referring to Webhook notifications, you have to install the plugin, if you haven't already, and then go to the "My Plugins" page (Meine Plugins) and configure your notifications within the Webhook plugin's configuration page.

    Thanks for your response.

According to Jellyfin's documentation, there should be a default notification option in the dashboard. However, I installed the webhook, but no "Notification" item appears in my user interface or settings.

    https://jellyfin.org/docs/general/server/notifications/

When I check other posts, I often see a "Notification" option listed under Advanced Settings, but it does not appear in my dashboard or settings.

Any ideas on what might be causing this?

If the posts you looked at were older, when 10.8 or 10.9 was the latest version, there WAS a notification tab. Now there isn't.

We'll have to update our documentation to clarify this.

Even in 10.9 the notification page just told you to install the webhook plugin. 😉

    I'm completely lost.

I installed webhooks and restarted Jellyfin. I also configured the generic webhook.

According to the documentation, I should see a "Notifications" section in my dashboard:

"You can properly configure this feature on the Notifications page in the settings. All notification types will be shown in a list as well as their current status. They can be enabled individually and can be set to only monitor specific users. Any installed notification services will show up in a list in this section."

    https://jellyfin.org/docs/general/server...%20section

However, I don’t see anything like that! What am I missing?

Yes, I was busy over the weekend and didn't get around to submitting a documentation PR. Installing the webhooks plugin will not add a notification tab in the Dashboard root. You need to go to the Plugins page and configure notifications from the webhook plugin's configuration page.
