Hi all,
I just switched from Emby to Jellyfin to give Jellyfin a try and ran into a little problem:
My setup:
Nvidia Shield Pro 2019 -> Marantz Cinema 70s -> Sony A95k
Jellyfin is running via Docker Container (version 10.10.6) on a little home server.
(i7, 32GB, hardware acceleration configured)
My problem:
Because I am using a AVR the Dolby processing offered by my Nvidia Shield Pro should be disabled.
(It must be disabled because otherwise it produces micro stuttering.)
That was no problem when using Plex or Emby. Both sent a correct DTS(HD), DD, TrueHD, Atmos, etc. signal to my AVR.
Jellyfin isn't...
If I enable the processing Jellyfin sends DTS (HD isn't working at all), DD.. but if disabled it sends only PCM.
(Of cause audio in Jellyfin is set to direct and bitstream is enabled; overview shows direct streaming.)
As I can switch between my old Emby installation and the jellyfin pod I suppose it is not a hardware problem.
So anyone an idea how to fix it?
