Modern SBC or just go N100?

I currently use an ODROID-XU4 as my NAS.  I mostly use it for Jellyfin, PiHole, SMB/NFS, backups, smart home, and VPN.  It handles most tasks just fine but can't transcode 265 and other modern codecs.  I also saw that Jellyfin is going to eventually stop arm7 development.  What ARM SMB would you suggest that work great with Jellyfin or just get a N100 setup?  Thanks.

1000x recommend an N100 over an ARM SBC. That way you get Intel Quick Sync for transcoding.

If you must use an ARM SBC, Jellyfin has good support for Rockchip based boards. Specifically the RK3588 and 3588S SoCs, which have proper hardware encoders.
