Please let me know if something to achieve this already exists, if yes what is it?

I've music on Jellyfin server which I move to phone and listen while driving (road trip etc).
I would like to mark songs as "liked" or add songs to playlist.
When I've access to NAS again I would like to sync these with my Jellyfin database.

    Thanks

Symfonium is a paid Android app that has those features.

The only music apps I am familiar with are Finamp (FOSS) and Symfonium (paid). They each handle being "offline" differently.

Finamp's offline mode is a true offline mode. The only things that exist are the tracks you downloaded. Likes/favorite is unavailable and so is playlist management of any kind, even if you try to add tracks you downloaded to a playlist.

Symfonium maintains a local database of your media so it has more robust options for offline management. It does allow you to like/favorite offline and it will sync the changes when it is online with your Jellyfin server again. You can also import playlists from Jellyfin to Symfonium and manage while offline. I'm not sure if I'm just being impatient, but I have to push sync playlist changes to the server.

For your needs, it sounds like Symfonium meets them.

For Symfonium, you actually get three options for how to use playlists.

    From the app:
    1. Offline First - "Manual Sync. Offline edits allowed."
    2. Online First - "Auto Sync. Requires server connection for edits."
    3. Read Only - "Auto Sync. Not editable locally."

So it's up to you how you want to deal with syncing playlist edits back to your server.
Offline First will force you to manually select a sync operation after edits done offline, while Online First will force you to be connected to your server to make any edits, but all edits are automatically sent to the server.

And as @TheDreadPirate states, all music you favorite will sync back to the server on the next connection to it.

Oh wow didn't realize there is already option.
Does Symfonium allow purchasing outside of play store? (I've degoogled phone and can't really use play store to purchase)

As of now installed Finamp (at least allows listening to music offline)

No, Symfonium requires you to get it on the playstore.

Also, it has a periodic call home check (like once every month or so) to check if the app is not pirated. This is important because if you go 100% into a place without internet, the app will stop working if that check takes place. You'll have to find some internet to restore the app usage by verifying your purchase while logged into the account that bought it.

Symfonium does offer a solution for degoogled device (See Symfonium forum) and the checks for kofi license and google play licences (after a couple of successful checks) are more around 6 months now.
