    Jellyfin 10.10.7

    Filenames:

    ./Jurassic Park II The Lost World (1997) - [1080p].mkv
    ./Jurassic Park II The Lost World (1997) - [2160p].mkv

    Log:
[INF] The movies "Jurassic Park, Jurassic Park III, The Lost World: Jurassic Park, The Lost World: Jurassic Park" is/are already in their proper box set, "Jurassic Park Collection"

Notice how the log repeats the same movie "The Lost World: Jurassic Park"

Movies are correctly identified and using the same ID in metadata info.
Other movies merge just fine, why aren't these merging?

Multiple versions need to be in folders, and the base filename needs to match the folder name:

Jurassic Park II The Lost World (1997)\
--Jurassic Park II The Lost World (1997) - [1080p].mkv
--Jurassic Park II The Lost World (1997) - [2160p].mkv

Thank you! that was the issue! theguymadmax

Although it does not say the file has to match the folder name! How can I request that to be added to the documentation?

Lots of hours wasted trying to troubleshoot this... lol

Scroll to the bottom of the page and click on "Edit this page"; that's the easiest way to submit changes to the documentation.
