one specific video/audio playback failure

hi i have issue with one specific video/audio playback, on the jellyfin android tv client it says too much errors, gave up. when i set the audio to downgrade to stereo, the video playback is successful, but i hope to get 5.1 on the other videos, so this specific video is annoying.

log attached when the issue happens, the video codec is like below screenshot. since tuning the audio downgrade make it through, i would assume the issue is in the audio stream which is not that special i hope.


tried play it in kodi and mxplayer, the video can be played with 5.1.

not sure if anyone could help or give me some suggestion?

Can you share your full jellyfin log via pastebin? And ffmpeg logs if there are any?

i am using jellyfin on synology docker, is there any guide for how to extract the full log and ffmpeg log so that i could share?

You’re affected by a bug with the AndroidTV client. When AAC 7.1 audio is remuxed while the video is being transcoded, playback fails, which is what is happening here. There's a proposed fix, but it hasn't been merged. What device are you using to run the Andriod TV client?

As for the rest of your log😲, it’s quite the masterpiece! I’m not sure what to make of it.

ok, thanks for the confirmation, i will be waiting for the fix then.

i am using amazon fire tv stick 4k second gen i think, it's there for a while, but i am new to jellyfin.

Looks like the fallback font provided doesn't contain the characters needed for the language they're using. I'm assuming CJK.
