Only group some collections

Is it possible to only group some collections?  I have a bunch of kids movies that I would like to put in a collection and have the movies "hide" in the collection. But I also have a bunch of all ages movies that I want in collections but to be listed individually. I don't want to set up a separate library if at all possible.

For your all-ages movies, you can use custom tags or genres to group them without hiding them. This way, they will still appear individually in your main library but can be easily filtered or searched by their tags.
