better way to organize a movie series without collections?

using mission impossible as an example i wish i could reorganize it so it displays chronologically when in a-z mode.

edit metadata -> change "sort title"

make the sort title the collection title and year

"Mission Impossible 1996"
"Mission Impossible 2000"
"Mission Impossible 2006"

etc. and so on

the sort title is never displayed anywhere and is only used for "sort"

i do this with all my sets
you may want to generate nfo files for your sets too so they don't lose the sort title when jellyfin decides it knows better than you

also, works great for the fast and furious collection so that "2 fast" doesn't get listed first, if you have that set
