    Hi,
I have a jellyfin server running on my linux box.  I have a windows desktop with decent speakers attached to it.  I have a windows laptop and many android devices that I would like to be able to use to play audio remotely on the windows desktop.  What's the best way to accomplish this?  I only care about audio, don't use jellyfin for video at all.

Edit: I know that the official Jellyfin client has a "Play on" dropdown but I have no idea how to get things to appear in there.

I recommend using Jellyfin MPV Shim. After you install and configure it, it operates as a system tray application. You’ll then find it listed as a device in the Play On section of your other Jellyfin apps.
