How would I go about embedding pictures from my Jellyfin server into a webpage or something? I tried copying the link to the picture and removing the bit at the end that tells the system to download it, but that just led to an error page.

Also, and this is a completely different, unrelated question, but I'm going to college in about a week and I'm not sure how my server would work on a campus. I have a laptop and a 1TB external, portable hard drive with all of my media and the installation files for Jellyfin and all that, but is the server itself tied to my home's IP address? If you can set up a sever at a college, how good of an idea is that? Is there any kind of security risk present if you're running a server in that kind of environment? And I'm planning to go back to my house every weekend so that probably won't make things any easier.

    Thanks in advance!

As long as you didn't specify a binding address, it should just rebind to whatever address your college gives your server.

    ####HOWEVER####

Check with your college's IT policies before hosting your server on their network. It may be against their policies.
