Problems with Music and MetaData

Hi there! I'm a fairly new JF user and am very excited by its functionality. I love having a home server. However, I'm very particular about how I want my music sorted. I want to do all the metadata myself. And I don't want MusicBrainz or AudioDB to be able to scan my library. I've tried locking with some success. However, I want to keep the plugins from working as much as possible. (I wish I could just delete them). I'm very novice with database and coding language, so I've had to rely on AI for help to troubleshoot this issue as well. It thinks maybe I'm not in Admin access and that is why I can't globally stop the metadata searching. I don't know. I hope someone here can help. I'm sure my problem sounds very dumb or super simple to a pro-user, but how my albums are sorted is very important to me, especially as I grow my library over time.

Any tips, advice or instructions are much appreciated.

Hello, I hope I'm understanding you correctly. You want the JF server not to modify any metadata of your music? In my opinion, this can easily be configured in:

Admin Login -> Dashboard -> Libraries -> [Your Music Library]

where you can set whether and which metadata providers should be used.
