In Movies and TV Shows Library I can view that (see thread title) as mentioned.

For my podcasts I have created a mixed Movie TV Shows library (deactivating all scrapers) and my mp3s are displayed well, taking embedded covers from the files. I added also some involved people to the podcasts and noticed, that unfortunately in this library I cannot view in a person’s profile in which podcasts this person played. This „bug“ is the same in other mixed libraries, too.

I know that these type of libraries are not in the focus of the developers but it might be only a little adjustment in the code like it perfectly works in a movie library.

Can something be done on this issue? I suppose that css or other things I could do myself does not help here…

Is the metadata you're bringing in specify that a particular person was in the podcast? Jellyfin does not pull down info about people and all the things they are in. Jellyfin pulls down metadata about a movie/show and if a person is in multiple movies/shows, they will be linked together.

If the metadata you are providing does not include the people in it, Jellyfin has no idea to link a person to your podcast.

In my case there is no scraping because it’s deactivated in the library settings. I add the few people of a podcast manually (because there is no such scraper or plugin). My expectation was, that as soon as I create a person’s profile in two different podcasts Jellyfinn regognizes that as a fact and shows me in one podcast that the person is also in the other podcast.

On the other side: When I add - again manually - a studio‘s name for several podcasts (which would here be the radio station), Jellyfin recognizes that and displays all profiles with that studio. So here it doesn‘t depend on automatic scraping of metadata.
