Setup:
Client:
Fire stick 4k max
Kodi Omega
Jellyfin for Kodi addon with auto updates (I assume latest version)
Wifi 5Ghz
Server:
Ubuntu 22.04
Jellyfin 10.8.13
Media is on a 7200RPM HDD, install is on a SATA SSD
Wired LAN
Almost every time "play from [TIME]" is selected it starts the selected media from the start, rather than the timestamp given. I thought it may have been the client/server not updating the server as to where the client left off, but this will happen after minutes or days.
I'll get some relevant logs tonight, I assume server logs would be more useful in this case? Either way, here's a log with a user on the aforementioned client/server, can't confirm whether or not they've hit that issue tonight. https://anonpaste.io/share/d614a805fa
