Right now I'm a Plex user and have been for years. I have a lifetime Emby account but that limits you to 25 devices and for family and whatnot that's simply a limit with all the devices. AppleTVs in two locations, etc.  So now I'm wanting to try Jellyfin.  I'm not home so I'm connected remotely to my unraid server. I've installed the docker then went to my cloudflare and added jellyfin.xxxxxxxx.net so I could access from outside the home. I setup the server with the folders and let it do it's scan. I get through MOST the settings (Jesus that could use some user friendly streamlining) and now I'm at the point wondering how to connect to my server.  I can't. I guess I could go through my cloudflare tunnel but that's against their TOS.  The last thing I need to CF locking me out. So what's the easy solution here? Or isn't there one?  I have about a dozen regular users, I'm the closest thing to a tech guy, and I'd like to do the migration from plex but this is a hurdle and there seems to be a couple.

Can you describe your setup more? Hardware, OS? Locally hosted or VPS? That will allow us to give you more specific guidance.

I'm on Unraid with a server hardwired to the router. I have a domain and connect to my unraid with tailscale. I have everything else, dockers/containters, accessed through cloudflare. It's local but I'd like to be able to access it remotely from my macbook, AppleTVs, and have my additional users use it. We have a bay home that we go to that doesn't have cable so the only thing we use there is AppleTV connected to the server. I have a few military friends overseas who have no other means and use it as well during downtime. Overall about 10 total users.

Are you adding :8096 to the end of your URL?

Also, are you using a reverse proxy?
