    Sudden issue with playback in Jellyfin Media Player (flatpak) - mpv-issues?

    I have spent a lot of time this week end trying to troubleshoot this issue: One of the users of my Jellyfin-server (still on 10.10.7) has suddenly gotten an issue with playback on the Flatpak aarch64-build of Jellyfin Media Player (1.12.0) running on a Raspberry Pi 5 Model B on Raspberry Pi OS 12 (Bookworm). It worked fine just some days ago, and it has happened without any updates to the Flatpak (according to flatpak history at least).

    Playback of any video file, regardless of codec, will at best play at ~1-2 FPS, or at worst be audio only with a black screen an occasional artifacts. All playback is confirmed to be Direct Playing via MPV. Downloading the file for playback in VLC works flawlessly, and viewing the same media in either Ungoogled Chromium or Firefox also works perfect (although this will for instance for HVEC-encoded media trigger server-side transcoding which I prefer is avoided).

    Checking the log in /data/jellyfinmediaplayer/logs/jellyfinmediaplayer.log reveals some MPV-issue. This line is spammed when trying to playback any media:

    [debug] unkonwn @ 0 - vo/libmpv: mpv_render_context_render() not being called or stuck

    I've also checked that this is not the case on another client running 1.12.0 of Jellyfin Media Player via Flatpak (though x86_64-build).

    I have no idea how to continue troubleshooting at this point. Can there have been a system update that broke MPV? My understanding of Flatpak is that all dependencies are contained within the Flatpak, so MPV is also included in the Flatpak here, right? Or does it invoke some external binary that could have been broken? Could this be a permissions issue?

    Any help with this is greatly appreciated.
