    Jellyfin Version: 10.9.9

Installation Method and Platform: Ubuntu Server

Issue Description: Automatic playback when seeking in a movie

    Full Explanation:

When I fast forward or rewind a movie, the playback starts automatically. For example, when I’m trying to find the exact scene where I stopped watching, the movie starts playing automatically as soon as I move the progress bar. What I expect is to be able to seek through the movie and find the correct scene without the movie starting to play automatically.

    Client: LG SMART TV

Additional Context: Is there any configuration that allows me to scroll through the progress bar without triggering automatic playback?

“I don’t think this is a client issue because it started happening after I generated keyframes and enabled trickplay. I also didn’t see any errors or anything unusual in the logs.”

    That's probably why.

The Android TV version does behave how you want it to. So as you skip, it won't skip until you press the center button on the remote.

The LG Jellyfin app basically uses the Jellyfin Web UI, so it will behave like it does on a browser where a keyboard skip will instantly play the video.

I understand, my friend, but this didn't happen before.
