Playback Stops After Skipping Forward

I'm using google tv Jellyfin (0.18.6) app on my Sony Bravia.

...As I'm skipping forward, time line moves forward, then when I release FF, playback is paused. I have to re-click Play for playback to continue.

is this a setting that can be adjusted or is it typical for the android app behaviour?

For now, that is the expected behavior. IIRC, the Android TV dev intends to make this configurable in some future release (not ETA).
