I have .m3u playlists that got added to my Jellyfin instance, but it's empty.  It came from my local Kubuntu PC, and the contents appear to be based on paths.  Is there a way for me to use .m3u across my PC and my Jellyfin instance?

Also, is there a way to generate playlists and share it to multiple users inside my Jellyfin instance?  In Rhythmbox, I have a smart playlist based on songs by both Taylor Swift and Eminem.  Is there a way to generate playlists based on their release year, artists, etc.?

In Jellyfin, playlists use absolute file paths so they are not shareable between Jellyfin servers.

As for sharing playlists between users within a Jellyfin instance, currently playlists are globally viewable. So whenever any user creates a playlist, all other users can see it.

    Jellyfin cannot dynamically/automatically generate playlists.

There are plans to add permissions to playlists in 10.9 so that you have the option to restrict playlist access.

What about these 2?  Are there plans to implement that? Or is there a 3rd party plugin that can accomplish this?

so I'm testing out using relative paths in M3U.

It works in Rhythmbox, but doesn't seem to work in Jellyfin.

the playlist and the library are synced via Nextcloud so they should be identical

    @ YamiYukiSenpai
Would you mind letting me know in what format the relative paths might need to be in a M3U, as they don't work for me so far?

Currently my M3U are looking like this:
    Code:
    #EXTM3U
    #EXTINF:321, Keith Urban - Everybody
    ..\MyMusic\VA\Various Artists\Now That's What I Call Country (2008)\(05) Keith Urban - Everybody.mp3

    ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Jellyfin 10.9.7 Server - Roku sticks, Kodi et al. as client
    Synology, Docker
