Cant get the download option on Jellyfin IOS to show up. I configured everything in the User settings and it shows up when I accessed through a browser on my computer but doesnt work on my iPhone

Not yet supported but you can experiment (without asking improvement till it is not official) by showing the hidden option : parameters -> scroll all the way down -> long touch on "Jellyfin Mobile IOS"
