Android phone won't connect to server

I setup a new Jellyfin server on a WinPC today, music library has scanned  and all looks ok when looking at the running server on the PC. However the Jellyfin app on my android phone won't connect to the server. The usual IP:8096 input into the app server search is not working. 

Any thoughts on how to fix?

Click on Start > type Resource Monitor > click on the Network tab > expand the Listening Ports table.

Find jellyfin.exe on port 8096. What does it say in the "Firewall Status" column (far right column)?

Not allowed, not restricted

There's your problem. You need go into Windows Firewall and allow jellyfin.exe.
