I like this forum, and it has been very useful. But out of curiousity, will the r/jellyfin reddit page come back online? I dont think that Reddit Management is going to do anything different, and the Apollo creator has already moved out of this space. I realise the move was taken to support Open Source and Independent creators, but I dont see Reddit Management changing their policy anytime soon. If Jellyfin refuses to be on Reddit, till they change their policies, then I dont see Jellyfin back on Reddit. I realise the onus should be squarely on Reddit to do the right thing, but their track record so far shows that they have no intention of doing the same. They can afford to wait it out. The Jellyfin community on Reddit was far more accessible. I am speaking as a pure user, and not a contributor.
Just my thoughts. Some of them are probably not great takes, but I just want this community to be back on its feet with full engagement again. I feel Reddit had that a bit more than this forum. Though as alternatives go, this forum aint half bad.
