Hello,
I have a Synology NAS on which I store my media. I already have Emby properly installed and working on that NAS and like it. But nonetheless, I would like to install and use Jellyfin in parallel to Emby on that Synology NAS.
I already tried installing Jellyfin on my Synology NAS 1) using the "Container Manager" (docker system), 2) the SynoCommunity package center with the Synology package center, and 3) the appropriate downloaded package from the SynoCommunity website (https://synocommunity.com/package/jellyfin).
Method 2) and 3) already failed during the installation attempt due to port conflict with Emby (Emby's port cannot be changed in the Synology NAS app), method 1) allowed me to install Jellyfin but I was not able to use it due to a port conflict with Emby (I could not load the web browser interface to make any changes). I tried changing the port already during installation via the container/docker system but that failed.
So, now before going into more detail about this issue: Is this a question I should ask here on this forum or is this rather a question for a Synology forum?
